Titanium Ball Valve ASTM B367 Gr C2 Product introduction

 Titanium Ball Valve ASTM B367 Gr C2 is 2PC or 3PC floating or trunnion mounted design, soft seat and metal seated structure. Titanium Ball Valve optional  material can be TA1, TA2, TA9, TA10, TA12, TC4, Gr2, Gr3, Gr5, Gr12ZTA1, ZTA2, ZTA3, ZTA9, ZTA10, ZTC4. Titanium Ball Valve ASTM B367 Gr C2 is widely used in chlor-alkali industry, soda industry, pharmaceutical industry, fertilizer industry, fine industry, textile fiber synthesis and dyeing industry, basic organic acid and inorganic salt production, nitric acid industry, etc. 

Titanium Ball Valve ASTM B367 Gr C2 selection points for attention: titanium valve should not be used for concentration > 98% or containing > 6% free NO2 red nicotinic acid; Titanium valves should not be used in dry chlorine gas with water content less than 1.5%. Natural explosions will occur in pure oxygen (PO2 > 35%). In addition to considering corrosion, the harm of hydrogen embrittlement of titanium valve should be paid full attention to. Titanium Ball Valve should fully consider the point gap and stress corrosion tendency in corrosive medium; The operating temperature of titanium ball valve should not exceed 330℃, and it is recommended to use heat-resistant titanium alloy material. When choosing titanium valve materials, it is necessary to fully consider the working temperature, composition of the medium, concentration of each component, water content and other four aspects of the corrosive medium in the working condition. Special consideration should be given to the point gap and stress corrosion tendency of the titanium ball valve in the working condition medium, natural explosion, and attention should be paid to the catastrophic damage factors such as hydrogen embrittleness caused by titanium hydrogen absorption for various reasons. It is strictly prohibited to use the titanium valve in the working environment where the above damage may occur.
